Integration points

Drupal is a great platform for distributed social networking. In fact it already supports many core concepts in its architecture. To work in the DiSo model, however, some tweaks and modules will be required. In particular:

  • XRDS-Simple publishing and consumption
  • OAuth for API authorization
  • Contact list portability
  • microformats where possible (user accounts, friends lists, etc)
  • Action Streams
