From DiSo wiki

At some point it would be good to host a bunch of DiSo events! Anything from simple meetups to hack sessions to upgrade soirees might fit the mix.

Here's some initial notes:

DiSoCamp

DiSoCamp is - naturally - a distributed event, coordinated over irc, chat, iChat video, etc.

Schedule for a saturday, 9-3-ish? (what about Europe)

Activities

• Hacking
  • Install-fest:
    • Install existing plugins on as many sites as possible
    • Test out on various configurations
  • Feature hacking!
• Get folks setup with an OpenID, test logins (and delegation, etc)
• Get folks on a jabber account
  • Test whatever xmpp code is working
  • Might want to see if someone will host an official DiSo ejabberd install (jeremi? ralphm?)

Brainstorming

• evangelism: what platforms should we target?
• branding: logo, badges, disobar?
